In a 6-3 decision handed down in the consolidated cases Thomas More Law Center v. Bonta and Americans for Prosperity Foundation v. Bonta, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on July 1, 2021 that Americans are free to support nonprofit organizations and their causes without fear of harassment or threats from the disclosure of their identities.
