A seventh-term Finnish parliamentarian is facing prison for tweeting verses from St. Paul’s letter to the Romans and expressing biblical views on homosexuality in a pamphlet and a talk show.
Finland’s prosecutor-general charged Dr. Päivi Räsänen with three counts of “incitement” against homosexuals, accusing her of breaching “the boundaries of freedom of speech and freedom of religion,” a press release from the National Prosecution Authority said Thursday.
