Indulgences for All Saint’s & Soul’s Day Extended Throughout November ucatholic.com
Normally during the month of November, indulgences are available on All Soul’s Day and during the Octave of All Saints’ Day.
Out of concern for those confined to home and to avoid large gatherings in churches and cemeteries, the Holy See extended the availability for these indulgences throughout the whole month of November.
Major Penitentiary of the Apostolic Penitentiary Cardinal Mauro Piacenza signed the decree extending the availability of the indulgences, saying many bishops requested it because of the importance of praying the saints and dead on the Feasts of All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day…
