Fr. Rob Galea pens hymn for bicentennial of Catholic education in Australia aleteia.org

The Archdiocese of Melbourne is celebrating 200 years of Catholic education in 2021. To mark the occasion, the Archdiocese tapped Fr. Rob Galea to write their anthem, “Faith in the Future.”

The tune is everything one could want for a modern Catholic hymn. The melody is easy to pick up and the chorus is lyricless, making it easy for school-aged children to learn. He is fittingly joined by a small choir of Melbourne students who do an excellent job of backing Fr. Rob’s pop vocals…
